Seodaemun-gu 'Omniscient Youth Perspective ? ZOOM, Closer Knowledge' Opening Ceremony
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) will hold an online lecture series titled "Omniscient Youth Perspective ? ZOOM, Closer Knowledge" from the 17th to the 30th, on weekdays from 7 to 9 PM.
The lectures, aimed at understanding social and cultural phenomena and fostering critical thinking, will be held over 10 sessions via the online video conferencing program ZOOM.
Starting with "Women Ahead of Their Time: Heo Nanseolheon and Shin Saimdang" (17th, Shin Byung-joo), followed by "The English Reformation and Henry VIII's Queens" (18th, Kim Hee-joo), "Help! The Garbage Doctor, COVID-19 and the Environment" (19th, Hong Soo-yeol), "Reading 'Bright Night' with Writer Choi Eun-young" (20th, Choi Eun-young), and "The History of Epidemics and Fake News" (23rd, Jeon Eun-chang).
Additionally, lectures include "Is Korean Society Equal? Seeds of Discrimination in Daily Life" (24th, Oh Chan-ho), "In the Age of Disasters, What is Good Rest?" (25th, Moon Yo-han), "Economics Made Easy for Everyone" (26th, Kwak Hae-seon), "Korean Society and Diverse Citizens, Hidden People" (27th, Kim Chan-ho), and "Still Living, Somehow Working as a Reporter" (30th, Nam Hyung-do).
Anyone can attend each lecture free of charge by adding the KakaoTalk channel "Seodaemun-gu Office," with a limit of 100 participants per session.
