On August 15th, Liberation Day, Lee Hee-ja, the representative of the Pacific War Victims Compensation Promotion Council, spoke at the "Online Press Conference Urging Apology and Compensation for Forced Mobilization on the 76th Anniversary of August 15 Liberation" held at the Institute for Research in Collaborationist Activities in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Elders Kim Jeong-ju, Lee Chun-sik, and Yang Geum-deok attended online. This event was organized to show solidarity between forced mobilization victims and citizens, and to collectively demand a sincere apology and compensation from Japan for the damages caused by forced mobilization./Reporter Kim Hyun-min kimhyun81@
