Bodyfriend 'Pharaoh II Black Edition'... "Feels like a trainer living with you at home"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Jeon Woong-tae, who made new history for Korean modern pentathlon by winning the country's first-ever Olympic medal, revealed how he relieved muscle stiffness at home.
In an interview video posted on Bodyfriend (CEO Park Sang-hyun)'s official YouTube channel, Jeon Woong-tae recommended the massage chair, saying, "The trainer feels like living together at home."
Jeon Woong-tae ranked 3rd overall in the men's individual modern pentathlon at the Tokyo Olympics, which includes five events: fencing, swimming, equestrian, athletics, and shooting. The best result Korea had achieved in modern pentathlon before was 11th place. This is the first medal in 57 years since modern pentathlon was adopted as an Olympic event.
In the video, he explained, "Since modern pentathlon involves all five events in one day, there are no muscles in the whole body that are not used, and injuries are frequent. You have to train hard regularly and carefully relieve the stiff muscles as they occur."
Training intensively for 15 hours a day across five events, he added, "Of course, I receive consistent daily management from a personal trainer, but when I come home, I always get additional massages with Bodyfriend. It massages the areas that are delicately and deeply stiff."
The 'Pharaoh II Black Edition' chosen by Jeon Woong-tae provides flexible massage according to the user's weight by giving elasticity to the three-dimensional XD module in the massage chair. A Bodyfriend official said, "As the national representative of Korean massage chairs, we will do our best to extend the healthy lifespan of the people by 10 years."
