[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Tandara Caixeta (33), the main attacker of Brazil, the semifinal opponent of the South Korean women's volleyball team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, has tested positive in a doping test. According to CNN Brazil on the 5th (local time), Tandara showed a positive reaction to a banned substance in a doping test conducted on the 7th of last month before the Tokyo Olympics, and she was sent back to Brazil. In response, the Brazilian Olympic Committee (CBV) issued a statement in the afternoon, announcing, "Caixeta has committed a potential doping violation," and "She will not participate in the remaining matches and will return to Brazil."
