[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Glad Hotel announced that it will offer a reservation sale of the 'Moonbaesul25×Glad Signature Lamb DIY Yangkkochi' set in collaboration with 'Suldamhwa,' the first traditional liquor subscription service in Korea, from 6 PM on the 6th to 9 AM on the 12th.

Glad Hotel stated that this collaboration is their second partnership with Suldamhwa. Previously, during the Lunar New Year package, Glad Hotel provided a traditional liquor gift set curated with Suldamhwa. In this collaboration, they are introducing the 'DIY Yangkkochi' menu from the 'Glad Signature Lamb' series, which is a representative home meal replacement (HMR) menu of Glad Hotel.

The 'DIY Yangkkochi' menu was launched as a lamb skewer version to easily enjoy Glad Hotel's signature lamb, reflecting the trend of increasing camping popularity and preference for barbecue foods. It includes cube-shaped lamb shoulder and wooden skewers, allowing for versatile cooking not only during camping but also at home.

The traditional liquor provided together, Moonbaesul25, is a liquor passed down from a family in Pyeongan-do with a thousand-year history. The hotel explained that its name comes from its aroma, which resembles the fruit scent of the moonbae tree. It is a liquor certified by national intangible cultural heritage and food masters, verifying its excellent taste and tradition.

This collaboration with Suldamhwa breaks the stereotype of "beer with lamb skewers" by curating traditional liquor that pairs best with lamb, presenting a new trend. The product set includes Glad Signature Lamb DIY Yangkkochi 300g, Ziran (Beijing seasoning) 10g, DIY kit (wooden skewers + vinyl gloves), and Moonbaesul25 375ml, priced at 19,900 KRW (excluding shipping), available for purchase at Suldamhwa's Damhwa Market. The reservation sale is limited to 300 sets.

A marketing representative from Glad Hotel said, "As 'staying at home' is prolonged due to social distancing, Glad and Suldamhwa curated traditional liquor and lamb skewer menus to help people fully enjoy drinking and dining alone. We hope people enjoy a wise stay-at-home life with this collaboration set menu that allows them to experience the charm of traditional liquor while serving as excellent drinking snacks or home side dishes."
