Pohang City to Begin COVID-19 Vaccine Reservations for Ages 18-49 Starting from the 9th

Vaccinations by '10-day rotation' until the 18th... Pfizer and Moderna shots start from the 26th

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Pohang City announced on the 6th that it will conduct vaccinations for the 18-49 age group (born between January 1, 1972, and December 31, 2003), who had previously been in the blind spot of COVID-19 vaccination.

Citizens aged 18-49 can make advance reservations from 8 PM on the 9th until 6 PM on September 18, after which they will receive their vaccinations. Due to the large number of eligible people, reservations will be conducted using a '10-day rotation system.' The first dose vaccinations will be completed between the 26th and September 30.

Once the 10-day rotation advance reservations are completed by the 18th, additional age-based reservations will begin. They will receive mRNA vaccines (Pfizer or Moderna), and at the time of reservation, individuals can select their preferred vaccination center or designated medical institution, as well as the date and time for their vaccination.

Reservations can be made directly by individuals online via mobile or other devices through the 'Vaccination Advance Reservation System' website.

A Pohang City official stated, "With the start of vaccinations for the 18-49 age group, vaccinations for virtually all citizens will be in full swing, and we will do our best to ensure vaccinations are carried out as safely as possible."
