[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] On Friday the 6th, daytime temperatures across the country will rise to around 33 degrees Celsius, with showers expected in various areas.

The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 31 and 36 degrees Celsius.

Showers will occur in the inland areas of northern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and mountainous areas of Jeju Island. Expected precipitation amounts range from 5 to 40 mm.

With heatwave warnings issued nationwide and high humidity, many regions will experience a heat index of over 35 degrees Celsius.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised sufficient intake of water and salt to prevent health deterioration due to the prolonged heatwave.

Fine dust levels are expected to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the seas off the West Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the seas off the East Sea. In the outer seas (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea, 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea.
