COVID-19 Vaccine Reservations for Ages 18-49 Available via Naver and Kakao

According to Naver on the 5th, users can issue a Naver certificate on the latest updated Naver app and then access the COVID-19 vaccination pre-reservation system to book their vaccine appointment. It is also available on mobile web and PC.

On the Naver app, users can pull down the first screen from top to bottom or click on 'Na.' or the profile image at the top to issue the certificate.

In addition to vaccination reservations, if users apply for the National Secretary notification through the Naver app, they can receive information such as pre-reservation guidance, pre-notification of vaccination day, vaccination precautions, and adverse reaction response measures.

Naver supports a stable reservation environment by building the authentication waiting page and reservation application queue system on the Naver Cloud Platform.

Naver is also holding an event from the 9th to the 21st where 1,000 users authenticated with the Naver certificate on the COVID-19 vaccination pre-reservation system will be selected by lottery to receive 20,000 Naver Pay points.

Naver was the first domestic internet company to cooperate with the government to introduce the electronic entry log system in June last year, and since the 12th of last month, it has been providing COVID-19 vaccination certificate authentication service on the Naver app QR check-in screen.

Since May, Kakao has been providing a same-day reservation service for leftover COVID-19 vaccines. In the 'Leftover Vaccine' tab in the third tab of KakaoTalk, users can check real-time information on nearby entrusted medical institutions with leftover vaccines and make reservations immediately.

Users who have completed vaccination can prove their COVID-19 vaccination via KakaoTalk.

On the electronic entry log KakaoTalk QR check-in screen, by pressing 'Load Vaccination Information' and completing the consent process, vaccination information is also included in the QR code.

The COVID-19 vaccination certificate is also issued and can be checked in the KakaoTalk wallet.
