‘Jeonju Bibimmyun’ Sauce Obtains Vegan Product Certification

[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] The sauce for 'Jeonju Bibim Noodles' has obtained vegan product certification.

The Jeonju Agricultural Life Material Research Institute (Director Oh Byung-jun) announced on the 5th that the sauce for 'Jeonju Bibim Noodles' by the local agricultural corporation Cheonnyeonnuri Co., Ltd. (CEO Jang Yoon-young) recently received vegan product certification from the Korea Vegan Certification Institute.

Vegan certification is granted only to products that do not use raw materials derived from animals, are managed to prevent cross-contamination, and have not been tested on animals.

The Korea Vegan Certification Institute is an official organization approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, responsible for vegan certification and assurance, and is known to have stricter procedures than overseas vegan certifications.

With the increasing number of consumers interested in vegan food, this vegan certification is expected to contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of Cheonnyeonnuri's 'Jeonju Bibim Noodles' against other bibim noodles sold in the market.

Launched on the 12th of last month, 'Jeonju Bibim Noodles' are sold at Cheonnyeonnuri's Jeonju City Hall branch, Jeonju Hanok Village branch, and Jeonju Station branch, and are being introduced to the Honam Headquarters of Korail Distribution and Storyway stores.
