[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Elderly, Children, and Youth Social Service Center of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Group at Dongshin University announced on the 5th that it operated the "Silver Solo's Golden Happiness Meal" program on the 3rd at the Naju City Healthy Family Multicultural Family Support Center training room.
This program was conducted by inviting 20 elderly living alone in the Naju area.
Over two sessions on the 27th of last month and the day of the event, the program provided ▲ education on achievements, roles, and depression prevention ▲ education on roles in old age and self-health ▲ making nutritious side dishes, aiming to alleviate the elderly's feelings of depression and promote happiness.
The program was implemented under the family program support agreement between the Elderly, Children, and Youth Social Service Center of Dongshin University Industry-Academic Cooperation Group and the Naju City Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center.
Going forward, the two organizations plan to collaborate on supporting and linking various programs for diverse families, as well as providing counseling and program support and operation for dual-income families.
