'Youth Comprehensive Plan' to be Announced at the End of This Month... Prime Minister Kim: "Hope for the N-po Generation"

[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Son Seon-hee] Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum said on the 5th, "At the end of this month, we will announce a concrete comprehensive plan that covers the entire life of youth, including jobs, housing, and welfare," adding, "Instead of the word 'N-po generation,' which is filled with frustration in front of 'youth,' the government will stand together until words of hope and success take their place."

Prime Minister Kim wrote this on his social media (SNS) on the morning of the same day. The Office for Government Policy Coordination is scheduled to hold the Youth Policy Coordination Committee meeting later that day to announce the comprehensive youth-related measures.

Prime Minister Kim said, "These days, young people possess such high capabilities that they can be called the greatest qualifications since Dangun, and they are also diligent," adding, "Nevertheless, seeing them still suffering from employment difficulties, housing problems, and financial hardship naturally leads to the thought that the pain of youth is not the fault of the youth themselves." He emphasized, "Youth issues are not generational problems but structural social problems."
