[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dong-hyun] South Korean men's table tennis team failed to advance to the final of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after losing to China in the semifinals.


Composed of Lee Sang-su, Jeong Young-sik, and Jang Woo-jin, the world-ranked 4th South Korean team lost 0-3 to the world number 1 Chinese team of Ma Long, Fan Zhendong, and Xu Xin in the men's team semifinals held on the 4th at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium in Japan.


South Korea will play the bronze medal match against the loser of the Japan-Germany match on the 6th at 11 a.m.
