Following cluster infections among luxury brand store employees and their contacts, as well as at children's experience facilities, one ice rink employee has also tested positive.

On the 4th, Busan city announced that 105 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed from the afternoon of the previous day through the morning of the current day.

After the cluster infection at Shinsegae Department Store Centum City branch, one ice rink employee was confirmed positive on the same day.

According to Busan city, 21 cases were confirmed in the afternoon of the previous day and 84 in the morning of the current day, totaling 105 new cases, bringing the cumulative confirmed cases to 8,596.

The spread is across the entire Busan area. In one day, infections were reported in 15 out of 16 districts and counties of Busan, except for Dong-gu.

By region, there were 6 in Jung-gu, 7 in Seo-gu, 2 in Yeongdo-gu, 11 in Busanjin-gu, 10 in Dongnae-gu, 2 in Nam-gu, 6 in Buk-gu, 7 in Haeundae-gu, 8 in Saha-gu, 5 in Geumjeong-gu, 6 in Gangseo-gu, 5 in Yeonje-gu, 7 in Suyeong-gu, 13 in Sasang-gu, 6 in Gijang-gun, 2 imported cases from overseas, and 2 from other cities or provinces.

According to Shinsegae Department Store, on the 2nd, one employee working at the ice rink tested positive.

The employee was tested and confirmed positive after a close acquaintance was diagnosed.

At Shinsegae Department Store, since the first confirmed case at the Chanel store on the 28th of last month, the number of related confirmed cases including employees has increased to 11.

In Seo-gu, 9 people including a family who gathered with acquaintances also tested positive. They exercised together at a sports center and reportedly had a meal gathering as well.

At two PC rooms in Haeundae-gu, a total of 8 people (6 users and 2 contacts) have tested positive from the 28th of last month through the current day.

One employee related to a call center in Jung-gu tested positive, bringing the total related confirmed cases to 10.

At a bathhouse in Dongnae-gu, 4 people (1 contact and 3 users) tested positive while in self-quarantine, bringing the cumulative confirmed cases to 123 (81 users, 1 employee, 41 contacts).

At a workplace in Saha-gu, 4 family contacts and 1 employee tested positive on the same day, bringing the total confirmed cases to 13 (8 employees, 5 contacts).

At a bank in Saha-gu, 2 people (1 employee and 1 contact) tested positive. The cumulative confirmed cases are now 12 (9 employees, 3 contacts).
