[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 4th that it will hold the 4th Software Competition of 'Mentor KB for Youth!' to discover creative talents suitable for the digital era.
This year's theme is aligned with the global trend of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG), and will be conducted under the concept of 'Software that Changes the Environment' together with the public. Submissions can be made using any programming language such as Java, Python, C, etc., and winning teams will be awarded prize money.
High school and university (graduate) students interested in software and programming languages can participate individually or as a team. Applications for the competition can be submitted through the KB Kookmin Bank Software Competition website until September 26.
The works of the 15 teams advancing to the finals will be exhibited at the KB Kookmin Bank New Building booth implemented in the metaverse space. Anyone interested in software can access the metaverse to view the submissions and participate in judging through voting.
A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, “We hope that young people will freely express their talents and capabilities in software,” and added, “We hope many outstanding talents suitable for the digital era will participate.”
