[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Welcron Healthcare's feminine care brand 'Yejimiin' announced on the 4th that it has launched the eco-friendly sanitary pad 'The Forest.'
Yejimiin introduced The Forest sanitary pad featuring a cover made with eco-friendly VEOCEL brand fiber material. This product targets the recent trend of 'Greensumers' who prefer environmentally friendly products.
The VEOCEL fiber raw material is extracted from renewable wood sourced from sustainably managed plantations. The natural VEOCEL fiber is biodegradable and compostable. Welcron Healthcare explained that this allows the product to fully return to nature even after use.
The Forest was released in various types including ▲long liners ▲medium and large sizes ▲overnight. It applies an air hole breathable film that releases moisture to the outside, providing a comfortable feeling even in summer. The overnight product features a 41cm length and a secure leak-proof line, which is designed to prevent leaks even with heavy flow or during sleep.
A Welcron Healthcare official said, “As ESG management is being actively implemented across industries, we launched The Forest to meet consumer patterns that increasingly prefer nature-friendly and environmentally conscious products.”
