Samsung Card launches 'Lotte World Card'... "Up to 7% discount on essential daily categories"

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Samsung Card announced on the 4th that it has launched the private label credit card (PLCC) 'Lotte World Card,' which offers discounts not only at various Lotte World-operated facilities such as Lotte World Adventure, Aquarium, and Seoul Sky, but also in essential daily life sectors and all affiliated stores.

This card provides discount benefits at various Lotte World-operated facilities including Lotte World Adventure, Aquarium, Seoul Sky, Water Park, and Folk Museum.

First, when paying with the Lotte World Card for Lotte World Adventure comprehensive tickets, Lotte World Aquarium, Seoul Sky, and Lotte Water Park admission tickets, a 50% on-site discount is offered once a month and up to 10 times a year for the cardholder and one accompanying person. Additionally, annual passes for Lotte World Adventure and Aquarium also receive a 25% on-site discount up to 8 times annually when paid with this card.

When presenting the Lotte World Card at Lotte World Adventure, cardholders can also purchase two tickets for the premium service 'Magic Pass Premium,' which allows enjoying desired attractions without reservations. Magic Pass Premium is a limited product sold in small quantities on the day and cannot be purchased once sold out, but Lotte World Card members are entitled to purchase two tickets every month. These benefits are provided when the previous month's usage amount is 300,000 KRW or more.

Discount benefits are also offered at Lotte World souvenir shops and other related services. When using the Lotte World Card at directly operated offline souvenir shops located within Lotte World Adventure, Seoul Sky, and Lotte Water Park, a 10% on-site discount is available without limits on the previous month's usage amount or discount cap. Furthermore, regardless of the previous month's usage amount, a 50% on-site discount on Lotte World Folk Museum admission tickets and a 20% on-site discount on Seoul Sky Sky Bridge tours are provided up to 4 times daily.

The Lotte World Card offers various benefits not only at Lotte World-operated facilities but also in essential daily life sectors, all domestic and international affiliated stores, and streaming services, allowing users to enjoy diverse advantages in everyday life.

When paying in essential daily life sectors with this card, discounts of up to 20,000 KRW can be received depending on the previous month's usage amount. Eligible sectors include ▲apartment management fees ▲online shopping malls ▲all gas stations ▲delivery apps ▲fresh food delivery ▲online bookstores, among others.

Additionally, this card provides a 0.5% payment day discount at domestic affiliated stores without limits on the previous month's usage amount or discount cap, and a 1.5% payment day discount up to 500,000 KRW per month on overseas payments regardless of the previous month's usage amount. Moreover, when making regular payments of 5,000 KRW or more per transaction on streaming services such as Netflix, Wavve, TVING, Watcha, Melon, and FLO with the Lotte World Card, a 2,000 KRW payment day discount is offered upon spending 300,000 KRW in the previous month.

The card design consists of three types featuring 'Loti,' the representative character of Lotte World, the 'Ticket' used for admission, and the 'Magic Castle' of Lotte World Adventure. The annual fee is 10,000 KRW for both domestic-only and international (Visa) cards.

Samsung Card will provide a 100% cashback of the annual fee to customers who newly issue the Lotte World Card by September 9 and make at least one payment by September 24.
