"Prescription Drug Nationwide Delivery Service"... Barogo-Dr. Now Sign MOU

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Startup Barogo, which operates a last-mile logistics IT platform, announced on the 4th that it has signed a 'business agreement for delivery infrastructure expansion' with Doctor Now.

Barogo provides prescription drug delivery services to patients who have received non-face-to-face medical consultations through the Doctor Now application.

Currently, delivery services are provided to Doctor Now partner pharmacies in the Seoul and Gyeonggi metropolitan areas, and the service coverage will be expanded nationwide in the future.

Doctor Now is a platform that supports the entire process of non-face-to-face medical consultations, including remote transmission of prescriptions and prescription drug delivery. Patients who have received non-face-to-face consultations through the Doctor Now app can receive prescribed medications delivered from the partner pharmacy closest to their desired address, based on the pharmacist's judgment.

Im Kyung-ho, Vice President of Doctor Now, said, "Although non-face-to-face consultations are currently possible under government guidelines, many people are unaware of this," adding, "We will actively strive to enable more users to enjoy the benefits of non-face-to-face consultations through delivery collaboration with Barogo."

A Barogo official stated, "We will make efforts to provide reliable services to patients receiving non-face-to-face consultations through Doctor Now."
