Incheon Gyeyang Special and Priority Supply Both Highest Competition Rates

40,000 Apply for Pre-Subscription Special and Priority Supply... Incheon Gyeyang 84㎡ '240 to 1' Preliminary Subscription Recruitment Results by District (Data provided by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport)

40,000 people flocked to the special and priority supply of public land pre-subscription. The 84㎡ special supply in Incheon Gyeyang recorded the highest competition rate of 240 to 1.


The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 3rd that about 40,000 people applied for pre-subscription for 3,955 units (including remaining units, 4,333 units) in the first supply districts of this year's pre-subscription: Incheon Gyeyang, Namyangju Jinjeop 2, and Seongnam Bokjeong 1.


The public sale special supply showed a competition rate of 15.7 to 1, and the newlywed hope town local priority supply was recorded at 4.5 to 1.


The Incheon Gyeyang district, a 3rd phase new town, showed the highest competition rates among the pre-subscription target districts with 25.7 to 1 for public sale special supply and 7.7 to 1 for newlywed hope town local priority supply.


Despite announcing 11 complexes simultaneously during this pre-subscription, the competition rate greatly exceeded the average competition rate of 2.6 to 1 for public sale special supply in the metropolitan area over the past five years.


In particular, the 84㎡ public sale special supply in Incheon Gyeyang recorded a competition rate of 240 to 1, marking the highest competition rate in the past 10 years.


Seongnam Bokjeong 1 also recorded a competition rate of 13.9 to 1 with 13,000 applicants for a total of 932 units.


Uiwang Cheonggye 2 showed a competition rate of 3.6 to 1 with 1,000 applicants for 304 units of newlywed hope town priority supply.


The 747 units of newlywed hope town in Uiwang Cheonggye 2 and Seongnam Bokjeong 1, which are supplied 100% to the local area, were fully subscribed with applications exceeding the recruitment volume.


Namyangju Jinjeop 2 district, which shares the living area of Byeollae New Town and Wangsuk New Town, showed a competition rate of 7 to 1 for public sale special supply and 1.3 to 1 for newlywed hope town local priority supply.


In the Wirye district adjacent to Seoul, 1,100 people applied for 418 units of newlywed hope town priority supply, recording a competition rate of 2.8 to 1.


From the 4th, applications for general public sale supply and newlywed hope town metropolitan area subscription will begin.


On the 4th, applications will be accepted from first-priority general supply applicants who meet the criteria of 'residing in the relevant area, having no home ownership for 3 years, and having paid more than 6 million KRW into the subscription savings account,' and on the 5th, applications will be accepted from all first-priority applicants residing in the relevant area.


Applications for newlywed hope town will be accepted from metropolitan area residents from the 4th to the 11th. However, the newlywed hope towns in Seongnam Bokjeong 1 and Uiwang Cheonggye 2 have been fully supplied 100% to the local area.


Kim Gyu-cheol, head of the Public Housing Promotion Team at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, said, "The government will respond to the high public interest in pre-subscription and make every effort to prepare the remaining pre-subscription schedule to further maximize the effectiveness of the supply measures."
