[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] On the 3rd, Kim Chang-ryong, Commissioner of the National Police Agency, visited Sejong Special Self-Governing City and met sequentially with Lee Chun-hee, Mayor of Sejong, and Kim Sang-bong, Chairman of the Sejong Autonomous Police Committee, to discuss measures for the successful establishment of the autonomous police system.

Sejong City and the Sejong Police Agency agreed to work together to provide various resident-centered policing services specialized for Sejong City.

Commissioner Kim emphasized the importance of close integrated administration between local governments and the police, stating, "For the autonomous police system to be successfully established, the special attention of local government heads is necessary."
