Technical Development Support Fund and Commercialization Support for Outstanding Technology Proposals
HDC Group's HDC Hyundai Development Company announced on the 3rd that it will hold the 2nd Technology Proposal Contest to expand win-win cooperation with small and venture companies and to discover excellent technologies that will lead the future construction industry.
Held for the second time following last year, the Technology Proposal Contest operates under the slogan "We will grow together with your diverse technologies for mutual growth." HDC Hyundai Development Company plans to discover outstanding technologies to lead win-win cooperation and encourage technological advancement through partnerships, thereby strengthening win-win cooperation and securing continuous growth momentum together.
Any domestic company can participate without special qualification requirements. Eligible submissions include all technologies applicable to construction sites such as ▲cost reduction, schedule shortening, construction method improvement, quality and safety enhancement technologies ▲Smart production (modularization) and construction ICT technologies ▲option sales products & specialized designs ▲future response technologies including digital business management ▲value-creating IDEAs in the construction field.
Applications will be accepted through the official website of HDC Hyundai Development Company from August 2 to October 1. Submitted technologies and ideas will undergo document screening in October and PT evaluation in November, receiving expert assessments by field based on criteria such as quality improvement and enhancement, creativity and originality, contribution to cost reduction (profitability), and practical applicability on actual sites.
At the awards ceremony scheduled for December, four companies with outstanding achievements will receive a total of 20 million KRW in technology development support funds, including a grand prize of 10 million KRW. In addition to the support funds, various benefits will be provided such as opportunities for commercialization through pilot testing, registration as a partner company of HDC Hyundai Development Company, and long-term supply rights.
Meanwhile, the first Technology Proposal Contest held last year received 96 proposals from 77 companies.
