[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Starbucks Coffee Korea announced on the 3rd that it will exhibit the winning works of the '2021 Starbucks Starlight Art Museum Children's Art Contest - The Future I Drew (GREEN)' at the Starbucks Starlight Art Museum until the 31st of this month.

The Starlight Art Museum, located at the Starbucks Gwacheon DT store, is one of the support projects for 'youth,' one of the three major themes of Starbucks' social contribution activities. Starbucks, the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, and the art planning company 'Art Sumbi' provide a platform for talented young artists, offer exhibition viewing and cultural experiences to visiting customers, and deliver a diverse Starbucks experience to the local community.

Now in its third year, the 'Starbucks Starlight Art Museum Children and Youth Art Contest' was held for elementary school students nationwide. Under the theme 'Our Future Living with Nature,' 10 works from lower-grade students and 10 works from upper-grade students, creatively expressing a future living in harmony with nature by recycling coffee grounds and discarded waste, were selected as the final winning pieces.

The contest is special in that participating students created works by upcycling used coffee grounds or defective products to give them new value. Visitors can feel the students' hopes for a sustainable future through the exhibition, allowing them to reexamine the value of resource circulation and sustainability.
