'Yoon's 100,000 Won Donation' Kim Bu-seon: "Joining People Power Party is Bleak... I Will Just Be Used and Forgotten"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim So-young] Actress Kim Bu-seon expressed her thoughts on former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol's entry into the People Power Party, saying, "Those disappointed with the Democratic Party of Korea and centrists must feel mocked," adding, "As always, minority rights, women's and entertainers' rights, and even those of former Prosecutor General Yoon are invisible. It is bleak."

On the 2nd, Kim wrote on her Facebook, "Former Prosecutor General Yoon said he would listen to the voices of various citizens and advocated for expanding the centrist base. But suddenly, he joined the People Power Party," commenting in this way.

She lamented, "After the mural of 'Julie' was painted, not a single person from Yoon Seok-yeol's campaign raised the issue of 'secondary harm' to me, which made me despair," and added, "I regret who this exhausting war was fought for."

She continued, "In the end, Yoon Seok-yeol treats me as a complete ghost, using the same logic as Lee Jae-myung. Strictly speaking, this is gender discrimination," and said, "I shielded Yoon Seok-yeol enough, but the conclusion is very hollow. I am someone who will only be used and then forgotten."

She criticized, "Have all the female lawmakers of the People Power Party resigned? While you shielded 'Julie' millions of times, my daughter and I are hiding and shedding tears of blood."

She also added, "Kim Bu-seon is not a foreigner here for tourism. I am a healthy South Korean voter fulfilling my tax obligations."

This statement was made during Kim's rebuttal of former Jeju Governor Won Hee-ryong's remarks. Regarding Lee Jae-myung's 'Kim Bu-seon scandal,' she directed at former Governor Won, who said, "If you want to become president, you should immediately file a complaint now and clearly uncover the truth as a dignified stance," Kim retorted, "Lee Jae-myung already filed multiple complaints against me three years ago. All complaints such as false accusations and defamation were dismissed by the prosecution and police. Please study."

Meanwhile, on the 26th of last month, Kim revealed on her Facebook that she had donated 100,000 won in political contributions to former Prosecutor General Yoon. At that time, she encouraged him, saying, "If you don't take that path, life would be easier, but it's regrettable that you are walking a stormy road," and "Above all, I believe in his upright conviction."
