Osamgwang, Honam University Professor, Appointed as Legal Protection Commissioner by Ministry of Justice

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Professor Oh Sam-gwang of the Department of Police Administration at Honam University has been appointed as a Legal Protection Commissioner by the Ministry of Justice.

According to Honam University on the 2nd, Professor Oh will be responsible for employment support, vocational training, and welfare support for rehabilitation protection subjects for the next three years, as well as pre-consultation and psychological treatment to facilitate the smooth social reintegration of those scheduled for release.

He will also actively support crime prevention policies in cooperation with the local community through activities such as academic guidance for children of rehabilitation protection subjects.
