Gwangju Seo-gu Nongsong 2-dong Welfare Council Joins Beautiful Sharing 'Good Store' Initiative

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] The Community Security Council of Nongsung 2-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Private Chairman Do Deok-young) visited three ‘Good Stores’ in the district on the 30th of last month to present the Our Neighborhood Guardian Angel Good Store plaques and express their gratitude.

According to Nongsung 2-dong, Seo-gu on the 2nd, a ‘Good Store’ is a store that coexists with the local community by donating a fixed amount of at least 30,000 KRW monthly, targeting small business owners and self-employed individuals.

Also, after making regular donations three or more times and being selected as a ‘Good Store,’ the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea presents a plaque and it is a sharing culture campaign that allows donors to receive tax benefits under the Income Tax Act as a statutory donation.

The Good Stores that held the plaque presentation ceremony this time are ▲Daemyung Advertising Co., Ltd. (Cha Hyung-mok) ▲Bitna Beauty Salon (No Jeom-nam) ▲Jeonggyeoun Home Care Senior Welfare Center (Kim Hyun-soon), totaling three places.

Stores such as ▲Jigeuljigeulbul (Jo Haeng-cheon) ▲Hwajeong Meat Restaurant (Kim An-su) ▲Jami Grilled Fish (Kim Ae-ja) ▲Wando Sea (Kim Jun-ho) ▲Haedream Rehabilitation Daycare Center (Kim Min-a) ▲Sigol Farm (Jung Da-woon) also participate in regular donations, adding warmth to the local community during difficult times.

The total number of Good Stores in Nongsung 2-dong has reached 38, and this achievement is the result of the Crisis Household Discovery Team’s active efforts to spread the culture of sharing despite the heat.

Do Deok-young, chairman of the Security Council, said, “Thank you for joining the Good Store to help neighbors in need despite the difficult conditions caused by COVID-19,” and added, “We will continue to strive to discover Good Stores and practice neighborly love to spread the culture of sharing.”
