SK Magic launches Korea's largest capacity 'Stand-type Direct Water Ice Purifier'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] SK Magic announced on the 2nd that it has launched the country’s largest capacity water purifier optimized for multi-use facilities such as offices and restaurants, the ‘Stand-type Direct Water Ice Water Purifier.’

The newly released stand-type direct water ice water purifier is the first hybrid direct water ice water purifier in Korea, combining the advantages of direct water and tank types. Both ice and cold water have the largest capacity in Korea, applying a large-capacity system for both water and ice considering the high usage characteristics of the product. The cold and hot water use a tank system to store large amounts of water, making it suitable for multi-use facilities such as offices, cafes, and restaurants with high water consumption. The water storage tank is designed with a stainless steel reservoir that eliminates concerns about contamination, bacteria, and corrosion.

Additionally, ice and purified water are produced simultaneously using a direct water method with large capacity. Ice is produced up to 720 pieces per day using an instant direct cooling method. Equipped with an ice room 4.7 times larger than existing products, it can store up to 3.5 kg of ice.

The cold water capacity is the largest in Korea, allowing continuous dispensing of up to 6.5L (51 cups based on 120ml). The hot water capacity is 3.5L (30 cups based on 120ml), enabling use without capacity limits even in spaces where many people use it simultaneously. During continuous dispensing, water can be dispensed in 1L units, and the dispensing space is designed wide with a 10cm drip tray width and 26cm faucet height, allowing water to be collected while placing a water bottle.

Hygiene functions have also been enhanced. Using two UV (ultraviolet) lamps, the 99.9% ‘UV Safety Care’ sterilizes the entire ice room every 5 hours with UV-C wavelength ultraviolet light. The ice outlet where ice is dispensed, as well as the water faucet, dispensing button, and drip tray, are designed with a detachable structure so anyone can easily separate and clean them. Furthermore, SK Magic provides the country’s first free replacement service for hygiene parts including the ice room every 12 and 20 months for the stand-type ice water purifier.

The core filter of the water purifier uses a four-stage advanced nanofilter that maintains beneficial minerals while removing various harmful substances such as microorganisms, heavy metals, super bacteria, and norovirus, ensuring both purification power and water taste. SK Magic explained that the design uses a metal-feel material considering interior effects as well.

The stand-type direct water ice water purifier offers an optional ‘Safe OK Service,’ a visit maintenance service available every 2 or 4 months.
