Renault Samsung Motors Offers 'SM6 Free Upgrade' Promotion in August... Benefits Up to 2.16 Million KRW

Renault Samsung Motors will continue the 'SM6 Free Upgrade' promotion this month, following last month, offering customers who purchase the SM6 (photo) a vehicle with a higher trim level.

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Renault Samsung Motors announced on the 2nd that it will continue the 'SM6 Free Upgrade' promotion, which offers customers who purchase the SM6 a higher trim level vehicle, this month following last month.

The SM6 Free Upgrade promotion provides customers with a higher trim vehicle equipped with more standard features than the trim they originally selected when purchasing the SM6. For example, if a customer chooses the SM6 TCe 260 LE model, they will receive the RE trim model, which includes features such as power and ventilated seats for the driver and front passenger, a 10.25-inch color TFT LED cluster, emergency braking assist, distance warning, and adaptive cruise control, in addition to the standard features of the LE trim. Through this, the maximum purchase benefit for SM6 TCe 260 customers is up to 2.16 million KRW.

The mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) QM6 also maintains special summer conditions. Support for options, accessories, and warranty extension purchases is provided at 1.5 million KRW for the gasoline model GDe and 500,000 KRW for the LPG model LPe, with an additional 300,000 KRW discount for customers with vehicles older than 7 years. Currently, the QM6 is the only model that is delivered to customers quickly within 5 days after contract signing.

The Renault Master has further strengthened special benefits for the 15-seat bus vehicles used for school transport and camping. First, the 'Happy New Master Bus 15-seat Special Benefits,' which include Smart Connect II and rear camera accessories, and up to 2.85 million KRW in vehicle insurance support, will continue through August. Additionally, the 6-month deferred installment program now allows customers to choose equal principal and interest repayment periods of 36, 48, or 60 months after the 6-month deferment period, extending the total installment payment period up to 66 months.

The urban electric vehicle Renault Zoe offers a 1 million KRW discount for cash purchases along with a prepaid charging card worth 500,000 KRW, which allows free driving for 20,000 km over one year (based on full charging). Furthermore, the special 500,000 KRW discount previously provided to government officials, teachers, and public institution employees has been expanded to include national veterans, persons with disabilities, and multi-child families.
