[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] The National Human Rights Commission announced that starting from the 2nd, it will hold the 'School Administrators Human Rights Leadership Training Course' with the participation of over 160 principals and vice principals from elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide.
This training will be conducted over three days across seven regions nationwide. The training will cover topics such as ▲Understanding Human Rights ▲Cases of Human Rights Violations and Judgment Criteria ▲Understanding Student Rights and Teachers' Authority ▲Human Rights Leadership Practice Strategies, sharing cases and opinions on practical measures for schools that respect human rights values. Additionally, special lectures on regional human rights issues will address sports human rights and gender equality.
The Human Rights Commission stated, "Through this training course where principals and vice principals from across the country gather in one place, we hope that a human rights-friendly school culture will further spread and that an educational environment where the human rights of students, teachers, and other school members are more respected will be created."
