Daejeon City Expands 'Aging Prevention Facility Replacement Project' to Entire Industrial Complex Area

[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced on the 2nd that it will expand the target of the ‘Small-scale Business Facility Old Prevention Equipment Replacement Support Project’ from workplaces within industrial complexes to workplaces throughout Daejeon.

Through this project, the city will support 90% of the actual installation cost within the support limit calculated according to the type and capacity of the prevention equipment.

Priority support will also be given to prevention facilities that are over 10 years old and workplaces with frequent complaints.

Applications can be submitted from the 9th to the 20th of this month through the Fine Dust Response Division of Daejeon City Hall. After receiving applications, the city plans to select the final support targets by evaluating the urgency based on workplace conditions and support details.

For more detailed information about the project, please refer to the announcement posted on the city’s website or contact the Fine Dust Response Division of the city.

Ko Byung-gap, head of the Fine Dust Response Division, said, “The project is being promoted to reduce the economic burden on small and medium-sized businesses that need to improve old prevention facilities and to minimize the emission of air pollutants,” adding, “We hope for active participation from local small and medium-sized businesses.”
