[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 30th, Chaehyunil, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, visited the restoration section of Daebangcheon Ecological Stream to inspect the site.

On this day, Mayor Chae inspected the site along Daebangcheon-ro from near the Singil Square Park intersection, the restoration section of Daebangcheon Ecological Stream, carefully examining the Dorimcheon construction site.

Mayor Chae stated that through the Daebangcheon Ecological Stream restoration project, efforts will be made to revive the urban ecological environment and create a healing space harmonizing with nature, thereby improving the quality of life for the district residents.

Yangcheon-gu Holds Meeting to Conclude Summer Internship for University Students

Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Sooyoung) held a meeting on the morning of the 30th to conclude the summer vacation administrative internship for university students. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the meeting was held with a reduced number of in-person participants and utilized an online platform.

The district operates a policy participation group with university student interns to analyze local issues and discover alternatives from the youth perspective. The group monitored cultural spaces, urban regeneration, youth public jobs, media content, and held discussions to propose policies.
