According to fire authorities on the 30th, Kim (59) has been conducting the high-altitude protest on the traffic control tower at Gangnam Station Intersection in Gangnam-gu since around 5:53 a.m. The fire department installed three air cushions on the ground in preparation for any emergencies. Police are also attempting to persuade Kim at the scene.
Kim, a representative of a company in the Gyeongnam region, has supplied industrial equipment to Samsung Group for over 10 years and reportedly climbed the traffic control tower to protest against Samsung regarding a worker death incident. It is known that Kim claims Samsung froze and disposed of three deceased workers. He also hung a banner on the traffic control tower this morning that read, "While conducting illegal business, after three workers died, they froze and disposed of them."
