[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] The Seo-gu Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City (Chairman Kim Tae-young) announced on the 29th that they visited the Hwajeong Daycare Center construction site to check and inspect the progress and listened to difficulties from related personnel.
The Hwajeong Daycare Center in Seo-gu is currently promoting a public building green remodeling project.
The public building green remodeling project targets aging public buildings such as daycare centers, public health centers, and medical facilities used by vulnerable groups like children and the elderly, aiming to improve living environments by enhancing energy performance and reducing indoor fine dust.
On that day, the Seo-gu Council members toured the construction site, made sharp critiques, and discussed countermeasures for the identified issues.
Chairman Kim Tae-young said, “Through environmental improvements via the public building green remodeling project, a representative project of the Korean New Deal, we will do our best to support so that our children can receive education in a better environment.”
