1 Additional COVID-19 Case in Hwasun... Jeonnam Patient No. 2007

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] One additional COVID-19 case has been confirmed in Hwasun County, Jeollanam-do.

According to the county on the 29th, a resident of Gwangju Metropolitan City underwent diagnostic testing at the county health center's screening clinic and was ultimately confirmed positive.

The confirmed case is a resident of Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, but since the test was conducted in Hwasun, the case was classified as Jeonnam 2007 (Hwasun 93).

Jeonnam 2007 had no suspected COVID-19 symptoms. Two companions met recently at a cafe in Gwangju were both confirmed positive.

The confirmed case has no movement history in the Hwasun area.

The county notified Gwangju Metropolitan City about the Jeonnam 2007 case and requested allocation of a treatment bed.
