[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] On the 29th, during the Q2 earnings conference call, Samsung Electronics stated, "In 2009, we became the world's first to mass-produce OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) displays for smartphones, driving the expansion of premium smartphones." They added, "Currently, we are supplying OLED products to notebook PCs, portable gaming devices, and are in discussions with several clients regarding the supply of flexible products for customers seeking high-end interior designs alongside the spread of electric vehicles."
