MOU for Collaboration on Global Shopping Mall Development Project with Jacob Corporation

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Video commerce startup Underpin announced on the 29th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation in building a global shopping mall with J-Corp, which is carrying out the authorized project of the Dongdaemun Fashion Town Tourism Special Zone Council.

Through this MOU, Underpin will jointly develop and operate the Sinsang24 fashion platform promoted by J-Corp. In addition, by linking Underpin's app under development, 'KEES', with Sinsang24, a global Dongdaemun fashion shopping platform connecting the Dongdaemun fashion wholesale and retail market with domestic and overseas buyers will also be promoted. They are also exploring the operation of an online Dongdaemun clothing and fashion platform using influencers (show hosts, models, BJs, etc.) and expansion into global sales content.

KEES aims to be a 'K-Culture Hub' where people around the world can enjoy 'K-videos', learn Korean, and purchase Korean products amid the rising global status of Hallyu.
