Suncheon-si, Jangcheon-dong Urban Regeneration Area Specialized Food Zone Startup Entrepreneurs Recruitment

Recruitment Open Until the 5th of Next Month for Startup Space Rental and Startup Education·Consulting Services

[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Heo Seok) announced on the 28th that it is recruiting entrepreneurs for the food zone in the Jangcheon-dong urban regeneration district specialized area for sustainable urban regeneration.

This project aims to develop Suncheon-specialized food, create jobs, and revitalize the local economy by providing startup opportunities to hopefuls with innovative items to inject vitality into the region.

The recruitment targets individuals or groups with local food and regionally specialized food and beverage items. After document screening and presentation (discussion) evaluation, two teams will be finally selected to receive startup spaces for two years (up to five years) along with startup education and consulting support.

Applicants wishing to participate should complete the application form and business plan and submit them by visiting the Jangcheon Field Support Center or via email by the 5th of next month.

A city official said, “We expect the interest and participation of many entrepreneurs with innovative content in this project to revitalize the alleys around the comprehensive bus terminal.”
