Dable Establishes Hong Kong Corporation and Partners with Thai Youth Community

Personalized content recommendation platform Dable (co-CEOs Lee Chaehyun and Baek Seungguk) announced that its expansion into the Asian market is progressing smoothly.


Dable has established a local subsidiary (Dable Hong Kong Limited) to accelerate its business in Hong Kong.


Earlier this year, Dable completed preliminary preparations and hired local experts for its Hong Kong entry, and within three months of launching the service, it recorded nearly 100 million KRW in monthly sales, showing rapid growth. The establishment of the local subsidiary aims to further speed up its penetration into the Hong Kong market.


Dable recently launched services in Thailand as well. It has partnered with Thai youth community Dek-d and others to provide personalized content recommendation solutions. Additionally, it is in discussions with major Thai media outlets, including the Thai economic newspaper Kaohoon, aiming for a service launch in August.


Within two years of its founding, Dable secured partnerships with major media and achieved the number one market share domestically. Starting with Japan in 2017, Dable expanded overseas and currently provides services in Taiwan, Indonesia, and other countries. It has established itself as the most widely used content discovery platform in Korea, Indonesia, and Vietnam.


Dable plans to accelerate its overseas expansion. Following the launch of services in Hong Kong and Thailand this year, it has recently completed preliminary work and recruitment for entry into Australia and Singapore. It is also working on legal and technical foundations for entry into the Chinese and European markets.


Dable CEO Lee Chaehyun stated, “Until now, Dable has adopted a strategy of entering one or two countries, establishing a stable presence, and then expanding to other countries. Based on our excellent technology, overseas expansion know-how, and confidence in our results, we plan to aggressively expand our overseas markets.” He added, “Dable aims to help more people easily find the information they want through technology. We will strive to become the world’s No.1 content discovery platform.”


Dable is a technology-based startup with world-class big data processing and personalization technology. By analyzing content consumption and behavior patterns of visitors to media sites, it provides ‘Dable News’ and ‘Dable Native Ad’ services that recommend content and advertisements users are likely to be interested in.
