[Asia Economy Reporter Woo Su-yeon] On the 27th, Samsung SDI stated in the Q2 earnings conference call that "The Gen5 battery is currently being prepared for mass production without any issues at the new line in Hungary," and added, "Starting from Q3, we plan to supply primarily to BMW, and from Q4, we expect an expanded contribution to the growth of automotive battery sales."
