Inspection of Call Center Compliance Obligations and Basic Quarantine Guidelines
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gangneung City, Gangwon Province, will conduct intensive inspections of 'call centers,' which are vulnerable to COVID-19 cluster infections, until the 8th of next month.
On the 27th, the city announced that during the intensive inspection period, considering the characteristics of call centers with many enclosed and densely packed contacts and the difficulty of remote work, they plan to check compliance obligations and basic quarantine rules for call centers.
There are three call centers operating within Gangneung City: two facilities with 10 or more employees and one facility with fewer than 10 employees.
Lee Min-ho, Director of Corporate Support Division, stated, "We plan to prevent the spread within the region by preemptively inspecting facilities with a high risk of COVID-19 infection."
