[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) announced on the 26th that it has appointed Yoo Sang-dae, former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Korea, as the new Vice President.

The newly appointed Vice President Yoo graduated from Jemulpo High School and Seoul National University with a degree in Economics, and earned a master's and doctoral degree in Economics from the State University of New York.

Vice President Yoo joined the Bank of Korea in 1986 and served as Head of the Bond Market Team in the Financial Market Department, Director of the International Department, Head of the New York Office, and Director of the International Cooperation Department, before serving as Deputy Governor from May 2018.

Based on 35 years of experience in policy implementation, international affairs, and financial expertise accumulated at the Bank of Korea, Vice President Yoo will carry out duties to enhance national housing welfare and develop housing finance.
