Held Back by Passive Play
Kim Won-jin (Ansan City Hall) failed to win a medal in the men's 60kg judo category. On the 24th, at the Nippon Budokan in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, during the repechage bronze medal match of the men's 60kg judo event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, he lost by hansoku-make (penalty defeat) to France's Luka Mkheize. He received shidos for passive play at 2 minutes 14 seconds and 3 minutes 15 seconds into the golden score (overtime). Kim Won-jin also received one shido during regular time. In judo, accumulating three shidos for passive or foul play results in a hansoku-make (disqualification).
