KOTRA Supports Jobs for Disabled People Through Goods Donations

[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] KOTRA announced on the 21st that its employees donated approximately 1,500 new and used items collected from their homes to the Goodwill Store Gangnam Saeum branch.


KOTRA conducted a donation campaign targeting employees from the 28th of last month to the 13th of this month, centered around the in-house volunteer club Left Hands. Goodwill Store, which receives items from individuals or companies, refurbishes them, and sells them at affordable prices, provides jobs to 262 people with developmental disabilities across 12 stores nationwide.


Yoo Jung-yeol, President of KOTRA, said, "Employees working domestically and abroad will continue to donate in the future," adding, "KOTRA plans to take the lead in environmental protection and consistently carry out activities that support vulnerable groups in society."
