Biological Father Arrested for Abusing and Killing 20-Month-Old Daughter and Abandoning Her in Icebox

On the 12th, the Women's and Juvenile Crime Investigation Unit of the Daejeon Police Agency announced that they arrested the biological father A (29) at a motel in Jung-gu, where an arrest warrant had been issued.

A is accused of beating and abusing the 20-month-old child at his home in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, in mid-last month, resulting in the child's death.

A is also reported to have participated in abandoning the child's body in an icebox. Currently, A's wife is in custody on charges of abandoning a corpse.
