The tournament, hosted by Incheon City and organized by Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP), features 16 global professional teams from Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong competing for the championship trophy in 'PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.'
The matches will be held as an online league game, with 4-person squad mode played on the 17th and 18th, five matches per day, totaling 10 matches. The team with the highest points will be declared the winner.
Prizes totaling 80 million KRW will be awarded: 40 million KRW for first place, 25 million KRW for second place, 10 million KRW for third place, and 5 million KRW for the tournament MVP.
All matches will be broadcast through AfreecaTV, Twitch, YouTube, Naver TV, and Huya, with professional commentators including Park Sanghyun, On Sangmin, Lee Jongwoo, and Kim Jisoo providing coverage.
During the tournament, viewers who capture broadcast videos and upload them to their personal Instagram with the required hashtags #Incheon #IncheonChallengeCup #ICC will be entered into a draw to receive mobile coffee gifticons.
Additionally, there will be a rich variety of prizes through events such as predicting the winning team and an acrostic poem event using words like 'Incheon,' 'eSports,' and 'Challenge.'
