Payment to Gunmin Aged 60 and Over Who Completed the Second Vaccination Dose
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong County, Jeollanam-do announced on the 12th that it will distribute ‘certification badges’ indicating vaccination status to residents who have completed COVID-19 vaccinations.
Residents who have completed the second dose of vaccination can visit their local eup/myeon office starting from the 13th to receive the vaccine certification badge.
Those who have not yet been vaccinated can receive the certification badge at the health center, eup/myeon office, or designated medical institutions after completing their vaccination.
The badge is provided as part of encouraging participation in vaccination and cannot be used as official proof, but it can be conveniently used when accessing multi-use facilities such as senior centers and religious facilities.
County Governor Lee Sang-ik said, “We expect that providing incentives such as certification badges to vaccinated individuals will create an atmosphere encouraging vaccination,” and added, “We will do our best to promote vaccination to expedite the return to normal life for residents.”
Vaccination history can be verified by obtaining a vaccination certificate at health institutions or eup/myeon offices, and vaccination status can also be proven through the smartphone app COOV (COVID-19 Electronic Vaccination Certificate).
