[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] IBK Capital announced on the 12th that it donated 57 million KRW on the 9th to Amsa Rehabilitation Center in Seoul to support the establishment of a fire evacuation space.

Amsa Rehabilitation Center is a residential facility for people with disabilities that provides various treatment programs for children with severe disabilities. IBK Capital has previously supported the center by providing home appliances, wheelchair lift vehicles for the disabled, and psychological stabilization facilities.

With this donation, IBK Capital plans to support the installation of a stay-type evacuation space within Amsa Rehabilitation Center. This space will allow people with disabilities to evacuate safely for a certain period before the fire department arrives in case of fire, minimizing casualties and alleviating anxiety about fires, thereby helping them live in a safer environment.

IBK Capital is a subsidiary wholly owned by IBK Industrial Bank. A representative from IBK Capital stated, "We plan to further expand our social contribution activities to coexist with marginalized groups in our society."
