Gwangju University - Lee Inam Studio Join Hands for Regional Culture and Arts Development

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyukjong) announced on the 12th that it has signed a business agreement with Lee Inam Studio for mutual cooperation in the development of local culture and arts.


Through this agreement, each institution plans to discuss ways to promote the development of local community culture and arts and to enhance the status of Gwangju as a cultural and artistic city.


In addition, they plan to jointly organize cultural and artistic education and experience programs for local residents and university students, exchange various information related to culture and arts, utilize facilities, and cooperate for cultural and artistic research and development.


Prior to this, Gwangju University signed successive business agreements with the Gwangju Cultural Foundation, five autonomous districts of Gwangju City, the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service, Gwangju Culture & Art Center, and Horanggashinaru Creative Studio to develop and operate cultural and artistic education programs for local residents.


Park Jinyoung, Director of the Gwangju University Institute for Educational Innovation, said, “Together with the partner institutions, we will promote practical joint projects to revitalize cultural and artistic education in the Gwangju region.”
