K Bank, "NH Investment & Securities New Customers Also Receive Stocks"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] K-Bank announced on the 12th that it will hold an event in collaboration with NH Investment & Securities, giving away K-Bank shares through a lottery to customers opening their first-ever securities account.

The two companies plan to provide more than 3 million K-Bank shares through this event. To this end, K-Bank resolved at its board meeting on the 9th to issue 3,076,923 new non-voting convertible shares and allocate them to NH Investment & Securities. The issue price per share is 6,500 KRW, totaling approximately 20 billion KRW. Additionally, K-Bank plans to complete the process of converting existing paper securities into electronic securities by the end of August.

The prize scale includes about 1,500 winners each for 100 shares, 50 shares, and 10 shares, with a total of approximately 1.53 million people receiving at least one K-Bank share. The shares awarded through the event will be credited to NH Investment & Securities accounts on September 15.

To enter, customers can select ‘Participate in Event’ and ‘Open Securities Account’ on the K-Bank app’s information page. Only customers opening an NH Investment & Securities account for the first time through the K-Bank app are eligible to participate. Afterwards, by clicking ‘Receive Shares’ on the NH Investment & Securities NAMUH app, winners can check the number of K-Bank shares they have won in real time.

The K-Bank share giveaway event will run until the 31st of next month but may end early depending on share availability.

A K-Bank representative said, “K-Bank, which has been maintaining stable growth recently, has prepared this share giveaway event with its shareholder NH Investment & Securities to provide more differentiated customer benefits,” adding, “K-Bank will continue its innovative growth to maximize shareholder value.”
