Pulmuone Saemmul Launches Large-Capacity Drinking Water Without Body Label

‘Pulmuone Saemmul by Nature’ 15ℓ product with the label removed

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Pulmuone Sammul, a subsidiary of Pulmuone, announced on the 12th that it has launched the 15ℓ product of ‘Pulmuone Sammul by Nature,’ a drinking water product with the label removed.

The newly introduced large-capacity drinking water product ‘Pulmuone Sammul by Nature’ 15ℓ features the removal of the body label and the brand name engraved on the container. Product information such as the product name, manufacturing date, and water source can be found on the wrap around the neck of the bottle. This product will be released sequentially starting in regional areas and is scheduled to expand nationwide in August.

Last year, the Ministry of Environment revised the ‘Standards and Specifications for Drinking Water and Labeling Standards’ to allow the sale of products without trademark bands and products with trademark bands attached to the bottle cap. In addition, for large-capacity products of 10ℓ or more, the labeling can be attached to the neck of the container instead. In line with this, Pulmuone Sammul proactively launched the label-free ‘Pulmuone Sammul by Nature’ 15ℓ large-capacity drinking water product following the label-free 500㎖ 20-pack and 2ℓ 6-pack products released on June 29.

To commemorate the launch of the label-free product, Pulmuone Sammul is offering free rental of water coolers to new subscribers of the 15ℓ regular delivery service, along with two packs of ‘Pulmuone Sammul by Nature’ 500㎖ 20-bottle packs, a capsule bottle, and a box of 100 Kanu coffee capsules. This promotion will run until August 11 online through the Pulmuone Sammul website and customer center, and until September 11 at offline franchise stores.

A Pulmuone Sammul representative stated, "Pulmuone Sammul previously launched two types of label-free ‘Pulmuone Sammul by Nature’ products in June to contribute to building a resource-circulating society. With the release of the 15ℓ product, we have taken a step closer to our goal of converting about 50% of this year’s drinking water production to label-free products."
