[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] LG Electronics announced on the 12th that its new concept stand for the LG CordZero cordless vacuum cleaner, the 'All-in-One Tower,' continues to gain popularity.


Since May, LG Electronics has been separately selling the All-in-One Tower stand, which allows for ▲dustbin emptying ▲vacuum charging ▲accessory storage, for customers using existing models such as the CordZero A9 and A9S ThinQ. Customers can choose the color of the All-in-One Tower from the Objet Collection colors like Calming Green and Calming Beige, as well as Deep Gray.


According to LG Electronics, among customers who purchased the LG CordZero cordless vacuum cleaner last month, the proportion of those who bought products including the All-in-One Tower stand approached 60%. The standalone sales volume of the All-in-One Tower exceeded 10,000 units within about three weeks of its launch. An LG Electronics official explained, "The differentiated performance and design, as well as the consideration from the early development stage to allow additional purchases for customers using existing models, were key factors."


The All-in-One Tower allows customers to empty the dustbin without separately detaching it. After placing the vacuum on the stand, pressing the dust-emptying start button on the upper control panel activates the dust suction motor, which draws external air from the vacuum to empty the dustbin. Customers can set the dust-emptying mode to automatic or manual; if set to automatic, the dustbin empties every time the vacuum is placed on the stand without pressing the button.


Baek Seungtae, Vice President and Head of the Living Appliance Division at the H&A Business Division, said, "We will strive to provide differentiated value to more customers with the All-in-One Tower, which also considers compatibility with existing products."
