[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 8th that it signed a 'Joint Development Agreement for the Social Value Business Rights of Incheon Airport 2nd Airport Logistics Complex' with the Small and Medium Business Corporation at the corporation's conference room.
Through this agreement, both organizations will allocate part of the land in the Incheon Airport 2nd Airport Logistics Complex as social value business rights to promote the development of logistics facilities supporting domestic small and medium enterprises, startups, and e-commerce companies that have abundant growth potential but lack financial capacity. This is part of efforts to support these companies' overseas market expansion and to enhance social value.
The Incheon Airport 2nd Airport Logistics Complex is a logistics facility complex being developed on a 326,000㎡ site adjacent to the Incheon Airport 2nd Passenger Terminal. Both organizations plan to strengthen mutual cooperation by forming a working-level consultative body.
Incheon International Airport Corporation will be responsible for land development within the 2nd Airport Logistics Complex and supplying logistics facilities to support the market expansion of the relevant companies, while the Small and Medium Business Corporation will discover promising companies with high policy support needs and support the operation of logistics facilities within the business rights.
The signing ceremony was conducted in compliance with COVID-19 quarantine guidelines, attended by Kim Kyung-wook, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, Kim Hak-do, Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, and officials from both organizations.
